2 Corinthians 5:20 says that we are ambassadors for Christ
Pour yourself a cup of coffee, sit down and visit with Ludmilla, a dear 82-year old widow living in the Czech Republic. Outside her home hangs a plaque that reads, “Embassy of the Kingdom of Heaven.”
An embassy is the office or residence of an ambassador.
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all surpassing power is from God and not us. 2 Corinthians 4:7
The above verse is referring to believers but I find application here for our homes also. Our home should be like the jar of clay. It’s not about how beautiful the home looks but what is inside.
Ludmilla is truly living as a representative of God’s kingdom here on earth. Her example is one to follow. Is your home an Embassy of the Kingdom? What makes a home an Embassy of the Kingdom? It’s not about the decor.
