Bible, Jesus

Ambassadors for Christ

When you became a follower of Jesus, you began a new life in Christ.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.  -2 Corinthians 5:17

You know that Jesus is your Lord and you want to truly know and serve Him. You have the Holy Spirit to help and guide you each day.  Even so, you might find that the distractions of this world cause you to lose focus and drift away from acting like who you really are.

Sometimes we need to be reminded of our true identity and the difference it makes in every aspect of life.

We physically live in the same world but now as citizens of the Kingdom of heaven. See Philippians 3:20.

Since becoming a Kingdom citizen, your full allegiance is always due to your King.

In the Bible, we find believers called

  • pilgrims
  • strangers
  • aliens
  • foreigners
  • ambassadors

See  -Hebrews 11:13  -1 Peter 1:17  -1 Peter 2:11  -Ephesians 6:20  -2 Corinthians 5:20

Our concern is to represent the King and His kingdom wherever we are.

Our quest is to know Jesus and make Him known to others.

We should grab every opportunity to promote the kingdom.
