Today is officially the first day of Summer 2022. There are so many things to enjoy about the Season. My favorite part of Summer is the gardens. I enjoy the little garden in my own yard and visiting other gardens of all types and sizes.
Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so. – Genesis 2:8-9
Notice these are two different events in Genesis
- God spoke and all types of vegetation grew on the earth.
- God planted a garden.
Don’t miss this – God was the first gardener!
God is -Creator-Artist-Gardener and so much more…………..

and the soil and sky
as canvas.
The very first garden was planted by God.
Think about that while you are in your garden today.
Love to know your thoughts about God and gardening.
