Corrie ten Boom

This page is a place to visit with a great woman of faith. She was born in 1892 and went to be with Jesus in 1983. When I was just beginning my journey of faith, I read The Hiding Place. I learned about how Corrie and her family worked with other underground workers in the Resistance, helping many Jewish people during WW II.  God brought her through the horrors of a concentration camp. She miraculously survived to spend the rest of her life proclaiming the truth that “There is no pit so deep, that God’s love is not deeper still.” While I was reading that book, she became a mentor to me. That was many years ago and since then I’ve read most of her other books. There is also the movie The Hiding Place (available on DVD) based on the book. In 2015 the sequel to The Hiding Place was released. To learn more about the new movie visit the official website → Return to the Hiding Place

“I know that the experiences of our lives, when we let God use them, become the mysterious and perfect preparation for the work He will give us to do.”                      ~Corrie ten Boom

Below are audio recordings of Corrie speaking. It seems that what she shared years ago is even more relevant for us today.

We are blessed to be able to access so much of what Corrie shared through her books, audio, and video recordings.
From her daily devotional book Each New Day-
“Lord, I do not ask to see the distant scene. One step is enough for me.” ~ Corrie ten Boom
Oh, I want to pray that also, and mean it. Lord, may this be true for me. I lay down my desire to know everything and just be at peace walking with You step by step each day, starting with today.  Amen          Corrie ten Boom 4

Hello and thank you for your beautiful website dedicated to our dear Corrie ten Boom. I had the utmost privilege and honor to portray this amazing Christian woman in Return to the Hiding Place. If your followers are interested in the sequel to The Hiding Place, I recommend going to our website for more information. The story is from the point of view of Hans Poley. As a teenager, he was the first person to hide in the Ten Boom home.We were actually the first and only film to be shot in Corrie’s home in Haarlem, Netherlands. I pray you will be blessed by this film. Thank you and blessings,
